You can manage your Childs device by using the Jamf Parent app for iOS or Android.

Managing via the Mobile app
The app is only available for iPhone and iPad and Android devices. Download the app from the App Store or click the links below:

Getting Started

Download Jamf Parent app.

Open the Jamf Parent app on your device.

Tap Get Started.

Do one of the following:

Tap Scan QR Code and scan the QR code on your child’s device. If this is the first time you are using Jamf Parent, you must allow Jamf Parent to access the camera to scan QR codes and allow Jamf Parent access to iBeacons for the QR code to display on your child’s device. To locate the QR Code see below.

When prompted, tap Confirm.

Repeat steps 2 through 6 to add more children’s devices.
Locate Child's QR code
On your child's iPad, open the Jamf School Student app then tap the Cog in the top right corner.
Tap Authorise parent and then scan the QR code using your device.
You can now manage your child's device!
Jamf Parent is an app you can use to manage your child’s school-issued device. Using Jamf Parent, you can manage your child’s school-issued device with the following features:
- Allow and restrict apps to choose which apps your child can use
- Enable App Lock to set a timer for app restrictions
- Create locations to see the approximate location of your child’s device

Restrictions
Jamf School allows you to apply restrictions in four different ways.
1) Device Functionality
This provides you with the ability to disable apps as you require. This is a very simple ON/OFF feature.

These are three pre defined categories to instantly block groups of apps.

This allows you to lock the iPad to one or more apps.

This allows you to choose a pre defined recipe or create your own to apply restrictions.
